OMEGA Constellation Manhattan Watch

Weekly Obsessions: OMEGA

New year, new me, new timepiece. OMEGA has unveiled 101 new Constellation Manhattan models for women, and I have been loving this OMEGA Constellation Manhattan 29mm model (THB 413,000). A watch that has been worn by the likes of Cindy Crawford and Alessandra Ambrosio, the timepiece features only subtle changes to the original iconic design, yet still manages to look modern and contemporary. The new bevelled edges and slender bezels allow for a wider view of the gorgeous dial, conveying a sense of sleek sophistication. I love anything inspired by the stars above us, and I’m happy to see the infamous ‘observatory under the stars’ medallion still resting on the caseback as a charming addition and tribute to OMEGA’s watchmaking history. Tiffany & Co. Intense Eau de Parfum

A new year means a new scent – or an addition to the 7 bottles I already have – and I was delighted to finally get my hands on a bottle of Tiffany & Co’s latest Eau de Parfum, Intense (THB 3,783). Its name sums up the fragrance so well as it is indeed, very intense, showcasing a deeper and more powerful version of the house’s earlier artisanal fragrance. Less floral than the original, Intense radiates elements of iris butter, the scent’s key note, with sweet notes of amber and a warm vanilla, a personal favourite of mine. When you look at the bottle, you’re immediately reminded of Tiffany & Co as it’s presented in a beautiful glass falcon, reminiscent of the Maison’s renowned diamond cuts; the box it comes in is of course that unforgettable Tiffany turquoise-blue. Safe to say, I keep this bottle sparkling right next to my jewellery box. – Catherine Napalai Faulder, Managing Editor

Gucci Decor Urtica Ferox XL Candle

Weekly Obsessions: Gucci

I am obsessed with candles. I have candles in my bathroom, in my bedroom, and on my balcony. And if there were any way to take my obsession for the scented heaven-sents to the next level, it is a candle that comes in a snazzy candle holder and doubles as eye-catching interior decor too. Strolling around Gucci’s store at ICONSIAM the other day, I spotted this Urtica Ferox XL Candle (THB 31,400), and knew it belonged right next to my bath tub, on my coffee table, or on my dressing table. I love the blue Richard Ginori porcelain holder, with Gucci’s Cruise 2018-inspired designs encircling the cup, and a black snake-adorned lid to cover. The scent is of refreshing freesia, bringing a botanical garden vibe straight to my home in Bangkok. A candle in true Gucci style. — LG

HARNN Oriental Rose Hand Balm

My biggest pet peeve is when I see my hands look dry, hydrated and wrinkled. And if you — like me — have the Instagram hands that are perfect for picking up cakes and cookies for the ’gram feeds, you know how important it is to have well-moisturised palms and fingers. So in order to keep my hands looking on point 24/7, I got the HARNN’s Oriental Rose Hand Balm (THB 790) and – I kid you not — the thick luscious cream has been my lifesaver. Made off ingredients like certified organic rose water, sheer butter, seaweed extract and rice bran oil, the hand balm keeps my hands soft and keeps my nails nourished throughout the day. – Kankanit Wichiantanon, Staff Writer

Diane von Furstenberg Tommy Crepe Jacket and Robbie Pant

Weekly Obsessions: Diane von Furstenberg

Sometimes you just need to rock up to your morning meeting in a head-to-toe pink suit even if for the mere reason of rocking up to a morning meeting in a head-to-toe pink suit. Diane von Furstenberg knows what she’s doing. Whilst the Belgian-American designer is most famously known for her iconic wrap dresses, I have been loving this Tommy Crepe Jacket (THB 33,800) paired with the matching Robbie Pant (THB 18,800) as a sleek suit option. I love how the black accents contrast with the bubble gum pink material, and I love the vintage flair of the bold wide lapel. It’s a classic silhouette, it’s a feminine colour, and it’s a seductive option if you style it like Angie Ng here without very much underneath. Power woman look for 2019? Sorted. — LG
