Chanel LE BLANC Brightening Gentle Touch Foundation
This week, I’ve been obsessing over Chanel’s new cushion foundation, LE BLANC Brightening Gentle Touch Foundation (THB 2,500) which launched the day after Valentine’s Day. I’ve been using it ever since and not only does a little of it go a long way, but I also adore its long-lasting radiance and brightening effect, easily revealed as the foundation is formulated with naturally derived ingredients, including licorice and hyaluronic acid. Most importantly, as it has SPF 30/PA+++ this means that my face has good protection for a full 12 hours, with only the good light from Bangkok’s sun touching it. Protection and coverage is everything, and the soft cushion foundation’s added pearlescent hue has got me hooked too. Available at Chanel counters at Siam Paragon, ICONSIAM and The Emquartier.– Catherine Napalai Faulder, Managing Editor
Stella McCartney Kids Bongo Dress
I wish I was a kid again! No responsibilities, no worries, and you get to wear Stella McCartney’s new kids collection which is entirely based around a fruits and vegetables theme. You’ll feel as if you’re walking around a supermarket with Stella’s carrot-shaped backpacks, cherry chambray shorts, banana print baseball caps. But the cream of the crop? This outrageously cute Bongo dress with a produce aisle print (THB 3,900). Time to either shrink yourself or shop for the special little ones in your life because this super healthy collection is truly salad gold. I’ll bet the kids won’t be turning away their greens anymore once they’ve seen this a-maize-ing collection. (I’m honestly so sorry for all the corn-y puns.) Available at Stella McCartney and Club 21, both Erawan Level 1). – Karn Chatikavanij, Style Writer
Pandora Shimmering Wish Necklace
I’m not American, but I’ve watched my fair share of American TV shows. Thereby I may have never participated in this tradition, but I sure know and love the concept. Wish bones: the funnily-shaped little bone in a bird (most commonly a turkey in a Thanksgiving episode) that is broken and thought to bring good luck. I have a serious inkling for it. And whilst Thanksgiving is long gone and I wouldn’t know the anatomy of a chicken if it hit me in the face, I was really excited when I discovered Pandora’s latest collection. It is inspired by the wish bone, and this Shimmering Wish Necklace (THB 3,650) has immediately soared to the top of my wish list. I love the stylish simplicity of the sterling silver and the pave-set stones, and the idea that a wish bone could so sweetly grace my collar bone. It’s a necklace that is easy to wear and pair every day, and one that manages to look timeless and contemporary at the same time. Stacked with others or on its own, it’s as if Pandora knew exactly what my fashion wish would be had I cracked the bone at Thanksgiving myself: effortless style done well. — Lisa Gries, Staff Writer
