A bangle without the commitment, or a handcuff without the imprisonment, cuff bracelets are the summer wrist candy trend we’ve got an eye out for at the moment.
Classified as bracelets that are traditionally open in the back — and thereby not conforming to a classic loop around the wrist — they’re a bit of a black sheep in the bracelet family, and yet are becoming the style staple of the effortlessly chic lady.
After all, there’s no denying the casual yet powerful allure of the cuff bracelet. It doesn’t beg for the attention of the onlooker like its charm bracelet sisters or its bead bracelet brothers. Cuff bracelets present themselves as they are: thin, thick, chunky, delicate, and always very versatile. They’ve become the true darlings of the fashion industry, as for these they hold a subtle punk rock personality to give any outfit an intriguing edge. The ‘will it slip off, or will it stay on?’ risqué is one that gives the accessory the fun spontaneity much like wearing a white shirt to a spaghetti dinner, or platform heels to walk the dog. They’re jovial and yet strong. They’re classic and yet contemporary.
Cuff bracelets: our unsuspecting star of style for the season. Peek our current favourites below.

Alexander McQueen Molten Cuff
Perhaps the most classic style for a cuff bracelet, Alexander McQueen reminds us that (g)old is gold, and that you’ll never go wrong with a standard cuff in a single-tone metal. This molten cuff (approx. THB 21,950) is forged by hand, before being cast in brass and plated in antique gold, giving it an intriguing shape despite its uniform shade. It goes well with flowing maxi-dresses or as a statement piece for any evening soiree. Beautiful.
