Unveiling the new Vacheron Constantin Overseas novelties, the Swiss watchmaker has teamed up with photographers from around the globe to present new timepieces. Imbued with a sense of travel and adventure, the collection sees representation by Thai photographer Nat Prakobsantisuk, who captured the spirit of the Overseas line through three of Thailand’s most beautiful locations.

The photographs are part of Vacheron Constantin’s larger ‘An Invitation to Travel’ campaign, celebrating the spirit of adventure, escapism, and wonderful wanderlust for which the brand has long been known for. Founded in Geneva in 1755, the Maison has been present on four continents since the 18th century, and with the Overseas collection, prides itself in making watches for the avid globetrotter.

Bringing local photographers to share unique perspectives of their beautiful home countries, the new campaign celebrates an openness to the world with the 2016-reinvented Overseas models. For Thailand, this features the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time in rose gold (THB 1,400,000), recognisable by its six-sided bezel inspired by the emblematic Maltese cross, and its in-house staple worldtimer movement. A particular intriguing feat for the keen traveler, this allows for the simultaneous reading of two time zones within one timepiece.

The watches have been captured against a backdrop of three uniquely Thai fronts: the ‘Grand Canyon of Thailand’ at Hat Chom Dao, a historical journey to Siam at the Sukhothai Historical Park, and golden hour in the Thai wilderness amongst the elephants.

Elegantly and warmly captured, the photo series follows a theme of natural and man-made beauty. Indeed, a beautiful invitation to travel through Thailand, and with a beautiful travel companion for the wrist.
