Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer

When it comes to shining bright like a diamond, we all know Rihanna is the queen of doing just that. And Fenty Beauty, is definitely one of our go-tos when we want to get our shine on. This gloss bomb lip gloss (THB 830) has three shades personally picked by the pop-star-princess, featuring Fu$$y, a soft romantic pink; our personal favourite, Diamond Milk, a shimmering sweep of milky pearl and last but not least, Fenty Glow, a rose nude that is universal, i.e looks good on all. For me, a lip gloss hasn’t done it’s job right if it doesn’t come with an addictive scent and Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer’s peach-vanilla vibe is just what I like. – Catherine Napalai Faulder, Managing Editor

ORIGINS Cleanse Treat & Hydrate Set (Limited Edition)

Travelling throughout the holidays and the change in temperatures from hot (Bangkok) to cold (Europe) really had an impact on my skin; despite my usual cleansing and moisturising ritual, my skin was dried up and looking, well… not so great! I knew I had to amp up my skincare game so I switched to using this limited edition set by ORIGINS (THB 800), a personal favourite of mine because their products use ingredients from nature. The set includes Checks & Balance Frosty Face Wash 30ml, a cleanser that balances the skin on faces with dry and oily places; then the Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Soothing Treatment Lotion 30 ml, an interesting lotion made using reishi mushrooms, fermented chaga and coprinus mushrooms that hydrates and soothes for a healthier looking complexion and finally, the GinZing Gel moisturizer that’s packed with panax ginseng and coffee beans, instantly injecting some life and hydration back into my face. Thank you ORIGINS! – CNF

MacKenzie Cake Carrier

It’s that time of the year where people are going wild for nothing but cakes and… cakes. And when I was baking tonnes of things for family and friends during Christmastide, carrying around a two-kilogram cake in a wobbly paper box was not such fun. That’s when the MacKenzie – Childs’ Courtly Check Cake Carrier (THB 6,313) became very handy. Made entirely of steel, this sleek cake carrier is a stable tool to carry my sweet delicacies. It is also just about as elegant as it gets, with the hand-painted check pattern and the little carved faux cinnabar on top – which helps to add extra style points to whatever cake I put inside. – Kankanit Wichiantanon, Staff Writer.

Issey Miyake Twelve Metallic

Perhaps not something I’d usually go for when picking out a new timepiece, but something about this Twelve Metallic watch (approx. THB 16,000) – a new addition collection to the popular ‘TWELVE’ Series – really caught my eye. Sometimes you just want something simple. Issey Miyake’s Twelve Metallic has an ultra-simple display with bold, chunky hands, a 12-sided (dodecagonal) glass exterior and a hairline finish for the bezel, case and back cover to emphasize the texture of the metal. Available in Silver Metallic dial with stainless steel case and black leather band or, my personal favourite, with a Gunmetal Gray dial with stainless steel gunmetal Ion-Plating (GIP) and a dark gray leather band. Simple but sexy! – CNF

Kohler Upgrade Verdera Smart Mirrored Cabinet

Sometimes it can get lonely in the bathroom, especially if that’s where you’re spending hours upon hours daily grooming, attending to your skin’s needs and, of course, doing your makeup. That’s why having a little friend in the form of a smart mirror that talks to you, takes orders from you, shows you grooming tips and makeup tutorials (via YouTube) or gives you traffic, weather and news updates while you’re in the shower is just so awesome. Getting this smart mirrored cabinet by Kohler (approx. THB 200,000) installed in my bathroom, which is basically like having a life-size iPad as a mirror, is definitely on my bucket list for 2019 and I know it’ll completely transform the way I interact with technology. I mean, if we use our smart phones in the bathroom, it just makes sense to just get a smart mirror too. And, the mirror doubles up as a cabinet for storing medicine, makeup and other grooming essentials. – CNF
