The hotel group is in compliance with the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organisation (WHO). The additional layer of protection includes the adoption of digital check-in/check-out, UVC light, and HEPA-grade air purifiers, contactless greetings (just like Vulcan salute popularised by Star Trek!), and a digital concierge app to book off-property experiences and order in-room dining. As for hygiene purposes, all high touch surfaces are covered with anti-microbial copper protection film, Ultra Violet C sterilisation to disinfect key cards and other objects, and disinfectant of incoming objects like luggage and supplies.

With their commitment to ensuring a Safety Sanctuary for both guests and associates, Banyan Tree Group has partnered up with Bureau Veritas to co-develop a label and a SafeSanctuary Programme for health and wellbeing programme.
