Arctic Fox Igloos, Finland by Bruised Passports

Luxurious glass igloos in the middle of the lake – just something your honeymoon needs. Sleeping to the beat of the Northern Lights in the comfort of a heated igloo makes Lapland worth all the trouble. You can drive snowmobiles, spend the night near the river while fishing or try the Shaman’s Northern Lights program on the peaceful shores of the lake Ranuanjärvi. And they come highly recommended by our favourite bloggers, Bruised Passports.

Giraffe Manor, Nairobi by Doyoutravel

This one’s been a winner ever since it came out. The Manor is a small hotel in the Lang’ata suburb of Nairobi which has associated itself with the Giraffe Centre, so it serves as a home to the endangered Rothschild giraffes. The 1930s house comes with lush gardens and beautiful rooms which give you direct access to balconies and terraces with access to feeding the giraffes.

Sultan Cave Suites by Amebeverly

If you’re a fan of Cappadocia and the hot air balloons, then this tiny boutique hotel built on top of the city’s storied caves, is your best bet. The arched ceilings and stone walls give this hotel a medieval feel. We heard that the museum is an eye-opener and one can also go on guided tours and balloon flights here.

Kapama Private Game Reserve, South Africa by DiipaKhosla

One look at the videos, this Indian blogger has made from this trip makes you really wish you were there. Kapama Private Game Reserve is as secluded as it can be and quite a unique experience too. Situated between Blyde River Valley and Kruger National Park, Kapama’s luxurious camps have so much to offer. For one, a romantic sleep-out on an open air platform and dinner by a private chef.
