James Corden got us used to his bits in Los Angeles, New York or London. But yesterday, the British host exiled in L.A. got us our new favorite segment, and it was shot in Paris…

The host of the Late Late Show was back in his home country last week, and before going back to California, he decided to cross the sea and visit Paris. There, he filmed the newest edition of his “Crosswalk the Musical” skit, where he recreated (he at least tried) Les Misérables. Not afraid of Parisian drivers, the comedian shot this on one of Paris’ busiest streets, near the Arc de Triomphe.

You may even recognize some of the Parisian landmarks we introduced you to recently, Le Peninsula or the Arc de Triomphe.

In usual Corden fashion, baguettes replaced anything looking remotely like a stick. The accoutrements were on point too, but one thing is always harder in Paris than anywhere else in the world, it seems… That is, conquering the French people’s hearts. Good luck with that, James!
