Lollapalooza is going hefty for its third Parisian edition

For its third Parisian summer, Lollapalooza has planned tons of fun. During a whole weekend, the crème de la crème of French and International music will take turn and perform in front of what promises to be, as always, an electric crowd.

An elevated theme-park experience

Music, events, and some more. The organisation has thought of different ways for you to enjoy your time in the 16th Parisian arrondissement on July 20 and 21st. The Longchamp racetrack will be welcoming the huge flow of festival attendees — around 120.000 people.

A focus that Lolla is trying to keep throughout all parts of their identity, as they introduce Lolla Planète, is environment awareness. The festival’s very own green agency is there to ensure all problematics linked to sustainable and durable energy are under control. Lolla Planète, during the event, is to be a place of education and entertainment. “Lolla Planet is a space that will be open to everyone for the duration of the festival”, officials for the event recently stated. “Everyone can come and discover, experiment the everyday gestures and projects that exist, for us to respect nature and its inhabitants more”, they added.

To make sure everything you eat goes with what you’ll hear and experience during the event, Lolla has teamed up with French Chef Jean Imbert. The official Lolla Chef has put together a strong team of culinary talents to feed the attendees with the very best of modern Parisian cuisine. Expect tons of influences and one hell of a tasting experience…

But the main reason Parisians attend Lolla is of course the live concerts! This year, the likes of Migos, Kungs, The 1975, The Strokes, Bad Bunny, Jaden Smith or Ben Harper are headlining. Next to them, the elite of French pop and alternative scenes. From Nekfeu to Orelsan, the French hip hop scene is well represented. It wouldn’t be a summer festival without what promises to be an excellent electronic music selection.

Stay tuned, as we are going to report live from the event, on July 20 and 21st. And make sure you get your passes while you still can!
