Data analytics agency Launchmetrics has just unveiled its newest rankings regarding High Fashion houses. The list includes the 10 most renowned brands in 2019. In order to come to the results presented below, the marketing platform studied the media impact of the main high-end brands, for the first months of 2019.

In an effort to quantify their observations, the firm developed its proprietary algorithm, dubbed Media Impact Value (MIV). The process uses machine learning. This means comprehending huge sums of data and — using computing — ranking it. Several indicators were used there, such as the reach, the price applied by the media, the quality of their campaigns, the involvement of their respective communities and the content itself. Both Kering and LVMH are well represented in the list, as one would already expect.

See the detailed list below.

  1. Gucci : $621 795 620
  2. Chanel : $581 399 852
  3. Dior : $519 409 932
  4. Louis Vuitton : $492 926 898
  5. Prada : $297 921 644
  6. Versace : $273 472 695
  7. Saint Laurent : $236 916 657
  8. Fendi : $231 600 698
  9. Burberry : $180 408 534
  10. Balenciaga : $172 583 347

No huge surprise here, except maybe Gucci’s overall sovereignty when it comes to communicating their products.
