Bringing together the engineering expertise at Rimowa and Moncler’s repertoire of technically advanced materials, the ‘Reflection’ suitcase features an ultra-shiny mirrored surface that recalls Moncler’s coveted reflective down jackets and Rimowa’s signature aluminium shells, stamped with a metal badge featuring a unified logo with the iconic motifs of both brands. Handles and riveted corners, meanwhile, are in matte black, which not only stylishly offset the gleaming finish of the case but also allows for practical handling.
The highlight, however, is certainly the LED screen that stamps front and centre on the grooved exterior, displaying ticker-style messages that can be customised through an accompanying mobile app — a cutting-edge idea that harnesses the power of technology and digital communication for a modern and almost futuristic way to make a personal statement. For easy organisation on-the-go, the suitcase also comes with an exclusive silver packing cube set featuring Moncler’s signature padded nylon, along with a dark grey luggage tag and belt.
