“I am crazy about Le Crazy, always and more than” fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier once said. Famed shoe designer Christian Louboutin called it “an iconic Parisian monument to dance. A modern and dreamlike conceptualisation, celebrating women in honour of women”. What are we talking about? None other than Crazy Horse Paris, the legendary adult cabaret that’s been electrifying the French capital since 1951. Next month, for the first time ever, you’ll be able to experience Crazy Horse without booking a plane ticket, when its stunning beautiful dancers — wearing red-soled Louboutin heels, of course — grace the stage of The Parisian Theatre in Macau.
From 1–12 November, the renowned burlesque act will present its “best of” show, titled Forever Crazy, which blends the cabaret’s artistic heritage and sophistication with a touch of modernity and humour. The performers are 10 classically trained dancers who will be clad only in textured lighting and projections, leaving you to guess where their bodies end and the illusions begin. Audiences can expect an evening of beauty and passion, with a soundtrack of sensual jazz and cutting-edge beats — effectively bringing the art of French seduction to Macau.
If you think this is a fringe act, you’re mistaken. In its history, Crazy Horse has entertained more than 15 million people, including world-renowned celebrities such as Elvis Presley, Elizabeth Taylor, President John F. Kennedy, Madonna, Christina Sting, Kylie Minogue, Steven Spielberg, Pink and Beyoncé. Simultaneously, over the decades, the cabaret has collaborated with famous fashion designers including Paco Rabanne, Karl Lagerfeld, Emmanuel Ungaro, Azzedine Alaia and, of course, Christian Louboutin.
For this night of magic, music and beauty, tickets range from HK$180–$680, and there are only 15 performances, so don’t miss out. (Buy tickets here.) We’re also giving away two pairs of VIP tickets (4) to the opening night performance on Wednesday, 1 November, followed by an exclusive after party. All you have to do to enter our competition is visit our Facebook post and follow the instructions. Bon chance!
