• ReFuel Automotive Entertainment Festival (26 August, Hong Kong)

• Montreux Jazz Festival (3–5 November, Tokyo, Japan)
  One of the three largest jazz festivals in the world continues its annual Japan offshoot at Yebisu Garden Hall. Think rule-breaking tunes rather than traditional jazz, with genres ranging from soul to world music and techno. Past lineup: Gilles Peterson, Toshio Masuura, Derrick May

• Quest Festival (10–12 November, Hanoi, Vietnam)

• Arcadia Taiwan (11–12 November, Taipei, Taiwan)

• Clockenflap (17–19 November, Hong Kong)
