Blancpain’s Métiers D’Art exhibition cocktail reception

Renowned for its deep respect for the grand traditions of watchmaking handcraft, Blancpain‘s award winning in-house Métiers D’Art Studio is highly celebrated for its exceptional, one-of-a-kind bespoke timepieces, which feature a wide range of traditional handcrafts including exquisite engraving, enamel painting, Shakudō crafting, Damascene gold plating and other techniques.

This weekend (10 and 11 November), the Swiss watchmaker is treating watch connoisseurs and art lovers in Hong Kong to a special three-day exhibition hosted at Amber, where visitors will be able to take a detailed look at a number of Métiers d’Art Unique Timepieces especially selected and flown in from the brand’s archive.

To mark the launch of the exhibition, Blancpain hosted a private cocktail reception yesterday, where VIP guests got to take a first glimpse at the archive pieces, as well as live demonstrations by an in-house engraver and dial drawings by a guest illustrator.
