Fendi just launched its charitable Peekaboo Project in Hong Kong with a special exhibition showcasing the two exclusive bags designed by pop queens Joey Yung from Hong Kong and Jolin Tsai from Taiwan, exhibited alongside select pieces from previous projects carried out in the UK, Japan, Korea and China. Both one-of-a-kind pieces are now available to bid for at an online auction running through 29 October 2017, with proceeds going to a charity personally chosen by the two: the Hong Kong Cancer Fund for Joey and the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) for Jolin.
To celebrate the occasion and also mark the start of the online flash sales, Fendi hosted a cocktail party last night at the Landmark Atrium, where the two popstars-turn-designers — joined by the two participants of the China edition including Olympic diving champion Guo Jingjing and Oscar’s Best Art Direction winner Tim Yip — shared the inspirations behind their respective bag designs.
