As part of its ‘A Year of Play’ campaign, Landmark wants to inspire us to use 2019 as a year of self-expression, imagination and playful celebration. In line with themes of positivity and individuality, the mall is hosting an exhibition at the Landmark Atrium, held in collaboration with award-winning creator Dennis Chan (the founder and creative director of jewellery brand Qeelin). The exhibition features 12 exclusive art pieces from Chan’s Haha Panda series, each exploring one of the following topics: “Money vs. Happiness”, “Me vs. the World”, and “Harmony vs. Disruption”. All of these pieces feature the design of a panda, which is not only a symbol of Chinese culture and tradition, but also a well-balanced lifestyle, which Chan believes is crucial to achieve true happiness and harmony.
To mark the launch of the Haha Panda exhibition, which runs from now through 31 May, Landmark and Dennis Chan has co-hosted a special cocktail party where their VIP friends — including award-winning actress Carina Lau and other local celebrities and socialites such as Zoie Tam, Anina Ho, Esther Sham, Antonia Li and more — gathered for a toast to celebrate the occasion. *Apart from the art collection, a series of exclusive Haha Panda merchandise is also available, with all proceeds going to Mindset — a local charity focused on raising awareness about mental health and aiding those in need. In conjunction with the exhibition, a Haha Panda afternoon tea set is also available at Café Landmark until the end of May. Find out more details here.
