Canadian brand Ports 1961 has long held an upstanding reputation for making well-crafted garments — its sleek yet simple cuts resonating with fashionistas around the world who are drawn to the beautiful, high-end textiles. This month, Ports 1961 debuted its new Lace42 sneakers, giving us a sneak peek of the Pre-Spring ’19 Collection conceived by Creative Director Nataša Čagalj.

To celebrate the launch, Ports 1961 held a colourful cocktail party last night, where VIP guests including Kathy Chow, Hilary Tsui and Faye Tsui, were invited to try on the new kicks while enjoying drinks and champagne against the neon pop-up installation at the Tsim Sha Tsui Canton Road store. Debuting exclusively in Hong Kong and Paris, the new Lace42 sneakers showcase the playful creativity of Čagalj with decorative laces and four bold colourways, in addition to being incredibly functional with a light and breathable fabric.
