Global style icon David Beckham — and Tudor’s global #BornToDare ambassador — flew to Hong Kong earlier this week for the Wednesday night launch of Tudor’s new Glamour Double Date watches. At the launch party, which was hosted at Popinjays atop The Murray, the former footballer was joined by familiar faces including Chinese model and actress Angela Yuen, along with Hong Kong actors Dickson Yu and Grace Chan.
The exclusive cocktail reception marked Beckham’s Asian debut as the brand’s global #BornToDare ambassador, and he appeared on stage to speak about his passion for watches and his partnership with Tudor.
“I feel very proud to be part of something that has so much history and heritage,” he said. “To be part of a brand that cares so much about what they do.”
Measuring 42mm and available in steel or steel and yellow gold, the new timepiece is the latest version of the Glamour Double Date model, which features a high-performance manufacture calibre that’s visible through the open back — a rare design feature on Tudor watches — plus a redesigned middle case and new dials with refined details.
