Christmas came early this year, as the team from Harrods — led by managing director Michael Ward — flew all the way from London to host a festive cocktail party in Hong Kong to celebrate the official launch of Harrods Magazine Asia.
The party was held at Pierre, which was, for one night only, decorated with a festive palette of green, red, and gold, highlighted by a magnificent Christmas tree decorated with special ornaments, golden pinecones, and the store’s iconic Christmas bears.
Guests included an exclusive number of Hong Kong’s most influential movers and shakers, all of whom turned up glamorously dressed and enjoyed a live performance of Christmas carols along with Christmas-inspired canapés. There was even a gingerbread modelled after the façade of the world-famous department store, which was put up for a silent charity auction (proceeds going to Wing Wah Charity Foundation Limited) throughout the night, encouraging guests to kickstart this year’s season of giving.
