Taking place on 8 March every year, International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate the achievements of women worldwide. This year, the global campaign is #BeBoldForChange, inviting each one of us to take initiative and drive greater change in the world. Whether it’s taking a stand on social media, donating to charity, honouring the success of women within our society, or simply recognising your own special self-worth, here are a list of ways you can celebrate this special day in Hong Kong and help promote this meaningful initiative.

To coincide with International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, the Tory Burch Foundation is launching an #EmbraceAmbition social campaign on 8 March, inviting everyone across the globe to make a pledge online and address the double standard that exists around ambition — a characteristic often seen as a great attribute in men but a negative one in women. In addition, #EmbraceAmbition bracelets and t-shirts will also be available in Tory Burch and Tory Sport boutiques globally as well as online. All of the net proceeds within the United States will benefit the Tory Burch Foundation, which works to empower women entrepreneurs in the country.
