Celebrating the launch of its Fall/Winter 2017 collection, Shanghai Tang hosted a cocktail party last night at Pier 8, where guests — including Rosemary Vandenbroucke, Angie Ng, Louise Wong and Yoyo Cao — all turned up dressed in the brand’s latest creations, joined by creative director Raffaele Borriello and chief menswear designer Armele Barbier. It was a night of fun filled with models, champagne, special cocktails, as well as live music by The Zombettes.
Both the Fall/Winter 2017 menswear and womenswear collections were on display inside the space, where guests were welcome to try on pieces. For the new season, the women’s collection continues to present a modern approach to Oriental aesthetics, featuring clean silhouettes in blue and black shades as well as ginkgo and crane prints. The men’s collection, meanwhile, exhibits smart attire in dark and subtle hues, which is then adorned with sophisticated embroidery details.
