Expect a dark and whimsical Halloween this year, as the House of Veuve Clicquot celebrates the season with a special collaboration with “The World of Tim Burton”, a highly anticipated exhibition that opens in Hong Kong this November.
In anticipation of the exhibition’s opening, Veuve Clicquot presents a series of “Yelloween by The World of Tim Burton” parties, bringing to life the surreal and eccentric world of visionary film director Tim Burton over Halloween weekend (28–31 October). Some of the city’s most popular nightspots including Dragon-I, Tazmania Ballroom, Bungalow, Flint at the JW Marriott and ToTT’s at the Excelsior will offer a backdrop of the weird and wonderful as you party the night away, glass of champagne in hand, of course.
A household name with a long list of award-winning blockbuster movies, such as Edward Scissorhands (1990), Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), Big Fish (2003), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), and Alice in Wonderland (2010), Burton continues to fascinate many with his exceptional creativity and vision, while his characters have inspired some of the most iconic Halloween costumes year after year. “The World of Tim Burton” exhibition opens to the public from 5 November 2016 to 23 January 2017 at ArtisTree in Taikoo Place, where visitors will be taken on a journey through Burton’s creative world via nine thematic sections.
