14 terrific spots for all-day breakfast in Hong Kong

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day — and while that may be true, our perpetually packed schedules in Hong Kong mean our daily calorie count is usually allocated to rushed power lunches or after-work happy hours rather than sausage and hash brown platters.

True breakfast lovers, however, won’t let something as trivial as the time of day stop them from getting their fix of syrupy waffles and smoky bacon. When the clock strikes 4pm and you have a hankering for eggs Benedict and avo on toast, here’s where to get your breakfast fix all day, any day, from hip coffee shops to comfort food diners.

Brick Lane

Brick Lane is pretty much synonymous with all-day breakfast, as it’s best known for slinging full and hearty English breakfasts from dawn to dusk. And when we say hearty, we mean it: the Full English comes loaded with three eggs of your choice, bacon, baked beans, black pudding, cheese, corned beef, ham, hash brown, portobello mushroom, sausage, smoked salmon, vine tomato and Yorkshire pudding. Stop by the newly opened Causeway Bay location where you can try new creations, such as the 48-hour slow-cooked prime ribs and red prawn linguini, alongside your quinoa porridge and smoothie bowls.
