Mexican-inspired cocktail bar named for the eponymous tool used to harvest agave. Industry veteran Jay Khan serves up a menu of clever libations (often centring on mezcal and tequila) from an industrial space on Shin Hing Street. Signature tipples include Khan’s addictive coffee Negroni and Tepache — a refreshing Mexican ferment consisting of pineapple skin, sugar and cinnamon. Coa debuted on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2019 list at No. 12 before hitting the top No.3 position in 2020.
