The only catch? The test drive is only offered to parties (one per group) who spend a total of HK$16,000 or more at any of the InterCon’s dining outlets over Father’s Day weekend.
For those who can’t manage to round up a 16-person posse, don’t worry: a sumptuous brunch at Harbourside is still sure to impress, accompanied by one of the best views from across the harbour. Register for The Secret Kitchen by The Butcher’s Club’s sausage-making class this Father’s Day for an opportunity to get hands-on and creative before eating to your heart’s content on dad’s special day. From noon until 3pm on Sunday, eager cooks can learn the fundamentals of sausage-making, from choosing your cut, seasoning and flavouring your sausage, and casing — going through the process from start to finish to learn to make your own sausages from scratch. Of course, your labour won’t go unrewarded: After the class is over, sit back with a cold one as the bratwursts sizzle on the grill, to be served with a classic spread of mashed potatoes, fresh garden peas and onion gravy — all accompanied by free-flow Peroni and soft drinks for the kids.
