City of Dreams Macau is hosting the biggest culinary event of the season

Believe it or not, local gourmands, it’s been a decade since the first Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau was launched, forever transforming the dining landscapes in the two SARs. To celebrate its 10th anniversary — and the release of the guide’s 2018 edition — City of Dreams is hosting ‘A Night Among the Stars’, a gala dinner that promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime culinary event. For one night only, six acclaimed chefs — boasting an impressive 14 Michelin stars between them — and Hong Kong celebrity Nicholas Tse will come together to present an unforgettable dining experience on 30 November.

Following last year’s memorable gala dinner at Studio City, the action moves this year to the ballroom at City of Dreams, where the seven-course menu will be inspired by the theme ‘Star-Studded Memories’, featuring dishes directly related to the seven chefs’ treasured recollections. Accompanying the evening’s exquisite menu will be a selection of complementary Robert Parker-rated wines, each rated more than 90 points, for guests to enjoy.

In addition to City of Dreams’ own superstar chefs — Fabrice Vulin of two-Michelin-starred The Tasting Room and Tam Kwok Fung of two-Michelin-starred Jade Dragon — the event will feature visiting culinary masters Alain Ducasse (When refer to Alain Ducasse, we must use this restaurant: Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris, Monte Carlo; three Michelin stars), Kwong Wai Keung (T’ang Court, Hong Kong; three Michelin stars), Noah Sandoval (Oriole, Chicago; two Michelin stars) and Hidemichi Seki (Tenku Ryugin, Hong Kong; two Michelin stars). As a special treat, Hong Kong’s pop diva Joey Yung will delight guests with a spectacular musical performance.

Fancy joining for this gastronomic journey? The gala dinner begins at 7pm, following a cocktail reception at 6pm on November 30. Tickets for the black-tie event (MOP 4,888 per person) are currently available for purchase here, at box offices inside City of Dreams and Studio City, and also by phone at +853 8868 6681.
