New Year’s Eve is just a few days away, but if you haven’t yet sorted your plans for the occasion, there’s no need to worry. We’ve got one last-minute suggestion that will make your last outing of 2016 a night to remember. With spectacular interiors designed by the one and only Ashley Sutton, Ophelia transports patrons to a different time and place on any given night, but on 31 December, it will go one step further.

For one night only, the venue will become the site of the fictional Empress’s lavish, enchanted party, which promises hours of glamour, mystique and even some magic. Be prepared to be dazzled by the Empress’s Garden, where exotic birds, seductive sirens of the night, and various forms of entertainment await you. If you want to fit into the spectacle, you’ll need to dress yourself in a colour palate of black, gold and purple — or else you just might not be allowed inside. You should be warned: legend has it that every guest who crosses the threshold into the party will be transformed into a bird!

A party isn’t a party without music and drinks, and this one will feature loads of both, plus decadent canapés. The musical highlight of the night will be British DJ Marc Dent, who draws upon ’90s house music and electronic sounds from the ’70s and ’80s to create his joyful sets which blend different styles and genres. For beverages, your ticket will include free-flow Estrella beer, red and white wine, house spirits and mixers, as well as soft drinks.

If you want to join in the fun, you have three options. For HK$1,288 per person, you can enjoy free-flow drinks, including a glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne, from 8pm to 1am along with food and table reservations — the most comfortable and sensible choice. Alternatively, you can opt for the free-flow package from 11pm to 1 am for HK$888, available at the door only, but that won’t includ

We hope you’re looking forward to this stylish party as much as we are, because we’re certain this will be one night you won’t soon forget. If you want a table, reservations are essential; call +852 2520 1117 or email reservations@diningconcepts.com.
