Following the successful debut at the Upper House and its current Landmark pop-up, Matchali now returns to its roots in Admiralty.

The modern tea company — touting the health benefits and clear-headed energy boost offered by ceremonial grade matcha — has now landed at Pacific Place for a year-long pop-up from 7 September, occupying the same location on the second floor as the previous Elephant Grounds.

Unlike the grab-and-go concept of the Landmark branch, the Pacific Place Matchali has a relatively spacious seating area with a handful of tables for dine-in.

Choose from some of Matchali’s roster of beverage mainstays such as the matcha latte or grey latte (made with black sesame) or from a few new additions, such as the summery apple hojicha cold brew.

Though Matchali is known for creating health-conscious drinks with minimal refined sugar, dessert lovers will be pleased with the expanded selection of tea-based treats. In addition to cookies from Cookie DPT, the Pacific Place pop-up also features exclusive desserts: earl grey canèles, hojicha apple muffins, banana bread, and matcha croissants.

For those looking for a festive dessert, look no further than its to-die-for matcha almond lava mooncakes, made in collaboration with vegetarian caterer Esca. Pick up boxes of four (HK$330) directly at the Pacific Place pop-up.
