The Mandarin Oriental’s Cocktails To-Go menu makes hotel mixologist Slamet Haryadi’s best-loved concoctions available for delivery or takeaway at The Mandarin Cake Shop. The Wise King
Known for its strong tipples and innovative mixology, The Wise King is serving up a brand new menu of bottled cocktails, exclusively for takeaway. Negroni lovers will want to try the Mandarino Negroni, which pairs dry vermouth with Mandarinetto Isolabella, Hong Kong’s homegrown N.I.P. gin and Rinomato Americano Bianco. The Pickled Margarita also adds some savouriness to the classic cocktail, using bay leaf-infused Reposado tequila, mezcal and pickled beetroot shrub for a smoky, punchy kick. Tea specialist bar Tell Camellia is serving up its loose leaf-infused cocktail concoctions by the bottle, with menu stalwarts on offer such as the T-Tonic in an array of flavours (try the new lychee and summer fruits) and the Australia — a delicious, comforting blend of yalamagi rain tea, tim tams, koala munchies and whisky, which tastes like a grown-up version of an after-school snack. Perhaps to the dismay of the bar’s many followers, we’ll have to wait until bars open back up for Tell Camellia’s levitating cocktails to resurface. If you’re missing Jay Khan’s Sheung Wan library of agave spirits, take comfort in knowing you can now purchase some of his favoured liquors and handcrafted concoctions all at Coa’s online shop to enjoy at home. Try the Mezcal Martinez, a riff on the precursor to the martini, using the agave spirit instead of Old Tom gin; a dangerously smooth and sweet Coconut Milk Punch made with overproof rum and tamarind; or the canned iteration of one of Coa’s popular signatures, the La Paloma — created together with Young Master Ales.
