The Bulgari Residences Shanghai lobby, is decorated with materials iconic to Bulgari projects. These include the Navona travertine, black granite, walls in marmorino and a custom-made Bulgari star-shaped chandelier. The brands signature eight-point star is further reflected on the floor, echoing the Via dei Condotti store in Rome.
To the side of the grand entrance lobby is the library lounge, dominated by large bookshelves and leather armchairs and sofas, for a more relaxed and social ambiance. The materials mimic the decor of the apartments with carpeted floors and coffered ceilings.
The communal areas of the building such as public elevators, are decorated in a typical Bulgari style including travertine marble, black granite and bronze details.
The hall from the lifts to the individual apartments are treated as private vestibules, subdivided into semi-private areas for accessing the apartments.
Every apartment’s interior decor comes in three different colour schemes: Dark, Grey and Light, each with a different choice of material for the walls and floors. The ‘Light scheme’ is designed for the smaller units, typically one bedroom apartments. This is a light scheme living room, beautifully furnished with light oak floors and brushed white oak boiseries.
The bathroom follows the same design for Light and Dark schemes and is created with black granite flooring with travertine marble and black granite inserts on the walls.
The ‘Grey Scheme’ bathroom is made with carrara marble instead of travertine marble, to compliment the colours in rest of the apartment.
The ‘Dark scheme’ is embellished with thermo-treated oak, black lacquered boiseries, silk wall coverings and bronze detailing on the ceilings.
The ‘Dark scheme’ apartment is once again designed for more people. The kitchen, wardrobes and walk-in closet of the residences have been custom designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors.
The rooftop bar on the 40th floor is part of the Bulgari Hotel and is available for all Bulgari Residences Shanghai to enjoy the stunning views of the Bund and Huangpu River, Pudong skyline and the financial district of Shanghai.
