KitchenAid debuts its first flagship store in Hong Kong

If you’re food fanatics like us, chances are you spend a good portion of your day researching recipes, puttering about the supermarket in search of sporadic ingredients, and dreaming about the day when you’ll preside over a properly functioning, full-sized kitchen rather than the shoebox space in your Hong Kong apartment. Whether you’re a consummate hostess who loves having friends over for dinner, or simply enjoy cooking for yourself every now and then, the limitations on home cooking given our Hong Kong lifestyle mean that when we do don the apron, we’re looking for the best tools out there to maximise our productivity and efficiency.

KitchenAid debuts its first flagship store in Causeway Bay.

The launch of the new KitchenAid Experience Store flagship in Causeway Bay is making it one step easier to get our dream kitchen in order, with a host of colourful new appliances to choose from. The popular brand hosted their grand opening this month, where foodies flocked from all over the city to enjoy cocktails and canapés while touring the exhibitions in the new store, from chef demos by the talented chef Daniele Paralovo to a talk with Danielle G, author of the cookbook “On the Table at Home.”

The Demonstration Kitchen hosted professional cooking demos during the grand opening event.

With the shiny new shop at Lee Garden Three now open for business, covering a whopping 2,000 square feet, customers can browse the full range of KitchenAid products, from small appliances to refrigerators, ovens, steamers, microwaves and more. Whatever you need to upgrade your kitchen, you can find it here, where the shopping experience is built around the theme of “Transcending Taste”, meant to be a multi-sensory journey of flavours, aromas, sounds and touch.

For the full experience, you can scope out full functioning kitchen solutions, and sit in on chef demos in the swanky new Demonstration Kitchen; browse the full range of sturdy small appliances, and check out recently launched products including full-on kitchen suites and fridges in the major household department. And for those who love matching their whole collection of KitchenAid tools, you’ll be able to get your hand on the full spectrum of colourways for all appliances at the new store.

Find the full suite of colourways, from Twilight Blue to Majestic Yellow.

Recently moved into a new home? Splurge on the KitchenAid Black Stainless Steel Kitchen Suite, one of the most audacious new designs for the brand with microwave and oven outfitted in an opaque texture with chromed aluminium handles; and add on the KitchenAid Iconic Fridge in red for a pop of colour, a sleek addition to any home or restaurant kitchen. Finally, scope out the KitchenAid CHEF TOUCH which is built for complete versatility in the kitchen with a vacuum machine for easy sous-vide cooking.

Need an upgrade to your stand mixer? Find the full suite of colours, attachments and models at the flagship store.

Of course, no kitchen is complete without the trusty stand mixer — the trademark product of the brand which, after nearly a century, still stands as the most durable workhorse staple and centrepiece of any modern home kitchen. With a range of colours and designs to choose from, you can upgrade your old stand mixer or diversify your collection with a range of different attachments, bowls and supercharged motors.

With the KitchenAid Experience Store showing off the brand’s combination of artisanal quality with high performance and an instantly recognisable design, the flagship is set to be a one-shop stop for empowering home cooks, nudging us all in the right direction of spending a little more time in the kitchen.
