Paris Fashion Week has come to an end, and the Spring 2017 runway shows are officially over. There was a lot to love in the new collections shown in Paris, but it’s now time to pick our favourite looks, the ones we can’t wait to wear next year. From the new Dior to the reinvented Saint Laurent, Paris featured some of the strongest and most influential runway shows of the season. Whether you’re looking for an evening gown or a go-to dress, these are the season’s hottest looks from PFW Spring 2017.
Inspired by 21st-century technology, Chanel’s collection was aa breath of fresh air. Though the two robots that opened the show were a pleasant surprise, it was this particular outfit that truly stole the show.
Miu Miu’s collection was as playful as ever. The vintage prints adorned on ’60s silhouettes were lovely. We loved the way the designer layered her pieces, and we fell in love with this summery combination.
For her first collection at the helm of Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri reinvented what she does best: romantic silhouettes in sheer and lace. The “Christian Dior J’adore” straps on the dresses were amongst our favourite design elements.
Inspired by the Shetland Islands, the collection became the modern interpretation of a warrior look. This knitted dress is one of our must-haves for Spring 2017.
Without forgetting its aesthetic, Anthony Vaccarello was able to take the old and the new, and point it in an entirely new direction. We loved this shimmery number that was clearly channelling 1980s-style excess.
Another designer who was inspired by retro prints, Chloé took a new direction for spring with lots of new silhouettes while still staying true to the label’s roots. We loved the cropped floral top matched with these flowing pants.
Loewe continued to design for the sophisticated woman, with a collection that was both contemporary and effortless. We love the way this minimalistic dress was accessorised.
Taking the runway with a twist, this dress is the perfect statement piece for spring. We love the modern design and the way it was layered with a simple white shirt.
With an array of bold and bright colours, Valentino’s latest collection was anything but boring. This flowing dress will definitely make an eye-catching addition to your spring wardrobe.
Though it drew inspiration from past decades, this collection has a contemporary feel due to its deconstructed elements. With its cutouts, this look presented the idea of a new kind of working woman.
