Best dressed in Hong Kong (holiday edition): July 2018

There’s no doubt that Hong Kong is one very stylish city — just take a quick glance around on the street and you’ll see more dapper gentlemen and perfectly put-together fashionistas than you can count. And of course, Hongkongers dress to the nines for the many parties and social functions that fill our diaries every month, catching the spotlight with their one-of-a-kind fashions. That’s why, every month, we select the most stylish ladies and gents in town.

July has proven to be a rather quiet month for exclusive social events around town: that’s because the majority of our city’s elites have been jetting away to the dreamiest vacation destinations around the world. Nevertheless, we’ve still managed to track down some of our favourite stylish Hongkongers on their world travels, so click ahead to find out who made our best dressed list for July’s special holiday edition.

We love Pony‘s dress very much as it beautifully blends wonderfully with the green surroundings of Capri, Italy, with patterns that brilliantly echo with the architectural structures and elements found on the captivating island. Highlight the look like she did with a pair of earrings in contrasting red, along with sunglasses for a sophisticated finish.

Captured strolling around some of the coolest neighbourhoods of London, Charles opted for a printed silk polo shirt with mid-sleeves, sneakers with matching colours of red and blue, before topping with yellow shades for an modern-elegance-meets-urban-chic appeal.

Feiping‘s choice of a collared maxi wrap dress with colourful floral embroidery, matched with enchanting crescent-shaped earrings, metallic sandals and minimalistic bucket bag looks wonderful against the vibrant colours of dried fruits, nuts, spices and, of course, Turkish delights, at the famous Spice Bazaar in Turkey.

You don’t want to wear anything too loud to disturb a mesmerising scenery such as the Horseshoe Bend in Arizona, U.S., and we think Laiza‘s choice of a head-to-toe white ensemble works perfectly over here. We also adore how she played with tones and contrasting textures by pairing an off-white sheer top with scattered fringes, cream sneakers and white denim skirt, before pulling to look together with black belt and shades, as well as a pair of gold earrings for a hint of casual elegance.

Another stylish Hong Kong fashionista traveling in the island of Capri, Italy, Judy  chose to highlight the coasts and blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea by going for a look topped with marine-inspired elements, such as a pair of striped pants and gold earrings with a sea shell design. She was also wearing an elegant white-coloured cropped top, effortlessly adding a boost of understated sophistication to her holiday attire.

Taking it easy in Saint-Paul de Vence, France, Angie went for a vintage maxi robe dress with crochet details that is casually layered over a basic romper, which she finished off with white sandals and shades for an effortless yet stylish vacation attire.

For her visit to an opulent, Great Gatsby-esque bar in Singapore, Giselle opted for a pink coloured flare pants with retro floral patterns, mixed with a white cropped top for a modern spin.
