In honour of their newest store on Tsim Sha Tsui’s Canton Road, which opened in May, Miu Miu has launched a capsule collection that is exclusive to Hong Kong. Available from early September, the capsule collection features bags, shoes, outwear and more, and it’ll only be sold at the new shop.
The collection is inspired by the brand’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection, highlighting some of the most timeless fabrics in contemporary design. Each item in the collection is adorned with Ricamo crystals, allowing you to add some sparkle to your wardrobe. The bags are a modern reinterpretation of the classic Miu Miu Delice bag, with its iconic matelassé design, and come in both denim and velvet. The denim theme also applies to the shoes, with slip-on sneakers adorned with hand-stitched crystals.
Another statement piece from the collection is the cropped denim jacket. Its simplistic yet stylish design comes to life with its embroidered badges. This capsule collection may not be a resemblance of Hong Kong in the most obvious way, but it does bring together the two elements this city is most known for: creativity and luxury.
