When the teaser for Prada x Mr Porter was announced last week, all we had were glimpses of clothing described as bowling culture-inspired. As the collection launches today — or now, really — the wait is over: The full lookbook is here.
In the rise of digital-savvy luxury behemoths, Prada was one of the few that were resistant to venture into e-commerce before finally catching up a few years late. While a late bloomer, this first online-exclusive menswear collection proves that Miuccia Prada and team are taking their digital transformation seriously.
As expected, the 32-piecer designed in collaboration with e-tailer Mr Porter posits a modern reminiscence of the ’50s and ’70s — not unlike Prada’s Spring 2018 comic-displaying shirts. Before click-hauling them all into your digital shopping cart, swipe through to see all the looks here.
Prada x Mr Porter launches today here. Prices range from US$370 for shades to US$3,540 for a suede blouson jacket.
