Prada just opened a ‘Prada Thunder’ pop-up store at Atrium II of Harbour City, presenting fans with a range of special edition products for both men and women. These products include ready to wear, bags, shoes and accessories, each featuring symbols inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein — from the Thunder and Frankenstein motifs to the Broken Heart and Electric Rose that represent his bride — created exclusively for Prada by artist Jeanne Detallante.
Adhering to the scientific monster theme, the store itself has been decorated to evoke the idea of a surreal laboratory, with themed wallpaper and dimly illuminated transparent tables and display cases. In addition, customers visiting the pop-up can snap up a little card to activate a Frankenstein filter on Snapchat for a fun-filled shopping experience. The pop-up store will remain at Harbour City through 1 July, before moving to a special display within Prada’s Canton Road store from 2–28 July.
