Our city has no shortage of top-quality suit makers to choose from, but that never stops newcomers from setting up shop. In addition to Attire House, there’s now one more option to add into the mix. Experts in top-tier tailoring and with 70 stores across the world — including major cities such as New York, Milan, London, Zurich, Amsterdam, San Francisco and Shanghai — European brand Suitsupply recently opened its first store in Hong Kong, bringing local gentlemen its signature brand of expertly crafted suits and casual wear.

Founded in 2000, Suitsupply has successfully managed to expand quickly around the globe while receiving widespread acclaim. In one notable example, a Wall Street Journal blind test of suits rated a US$600 Suitsupply suit in a first-place with one from Armani that cost US$3,600.

Sitting amongst the skyscrapers and businesses off Des Voeux Road on Ice House Street, the spacious 622-square-metre store offers a tasteful shopping experience for customers. Other than a full collection of suits (ranging from HK$2,999 to HK$7,799, shirts averaging HK$799) and casual wear, the new store also contains a dedicated eveningwear area, private shopping room and a made-to-measure department (suits starting at HK$6,199). There’s also an on-site tailor for on-demand alterations, so you can walk out of the store immediately looking your best in the perfect fit.

Our team has yet to personally experience Suitsupply’s service, but with such a large presence globally and a strong dedication to fine tailoring, we have high hopes for this new arrival.
