As editors at Lifestyle Asia, we’re privileged to get a first look at the most exciting new luxury goods daily, but with so many new releases rolling out all the time, it’s all but impossible to cover every single lust-worthy find we have our eyes on. That’s what you’ll find in Weekly Obsessions: a running list of highly covetable items we’re currently mad about — because if it’s on our radar, it should definitely be on yours, too. From the must-have footwear of the moment to age-defying beauty products, scroll down to see what our editors are obsessing over this week.

Stuart Weitzman ‘Lulah’ mules

The arrival of June signals the start of the summer wedding season. For modern brides in search of the best pair of heels to get you down the aisle, may we suggest these cream coloured ‘Lulah’ mules (HK$3,500) from Stuart Weitzman‘s bridal collection? They are crafted from elegant shiny calf leather, and feature a sleek silhouette with a deep vamp and sharp, pointed toe design, making them a perfect match for bridal dresses with a clean and contemporary aesthetic. What’s more? You’ll be able to wear them again and again even after your wedding, instead of having to store them away for the next glamorous occasion that might never come. —Cindie Chan, Style Editor

Vara of London Serpentina Linea ring

Weekly Obsessions - Vara of London

While Bulgari’s Serpenti collection is forever iconic, those who prefer a more dainty approach to the mesmerising serpent design (and a more affordable price tag) might wish to consider this Serpentina Linea ring (HK$14,369) by Vara of London. Created by Hong Kong-based jewellery designer Mayuri Vara, the ring is inspired by Elizabeth Taylor’s famous portrayal of Cleopatra, and features 18k rose gold that’s partly set with diamonds. I adore it for its understated glamour and minimalistic aesthetic, which will compliment any type of outfit for any occasion. —CC

Panerai Luminor Marina 42mm

weekly obsessions - panerai

Sometimes, it’s not so much about a complete overhaul as it is perfecting the basics. That’s the kind of sentiment I imagine Panerai had in Shanghai last month, when they unveiled the PAM01028 (HK$64,100). A new addition to the Luminor Marina 42mm lineup — which is mechanically identical to its black and silvered dial siblings — this new Luminor runs off of a self-winding calibre P.9010, an in-house movement that incorporates two mainspring barrels (to achieve its 3-day power reserve), a Glucydur balance and Incabloc shock protection. The more immediate appeal is in its good looks. Combining a 90s-inspired bracelet with blue sunburst dial isn’t something which Panerai have done before, but the overall effect is pretty handsome. Each link picks up on the crown protector’s silhouette, whereas the unchanged design codes mean the sunburst dial — which flits through a spectrum of bluish hues — enjoys focal status upon the wrist. Not a bad option if you’re tired of the usual glut of Subs and Seamasters. —Randy Lai, Staff Writer

ESPA Overnight Hydration Therapy

Weekly Obsessions - Espa

When work/life/social commitments have you pressed like a panini, the last thing you feel like doing is slapping on 10 skincare products in succession before bed to maintain a fresh complexion. I recently dug this fantastic overnight mask (HK$350/55ml from Harvey Nichols) out of an old spa goodie bag and I have to say it is life-changing: Even on my most exhausted nights I can massage just this on my face before I pass out, and my parched skin drinks it right up — I wake up to smooth, awake and poreless skin in the morning. Magic! —Evelyn Lok, Associate Editor
