New York Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2018 season is officially coming to a close, and heading to London as we speak. While the outfits models wear on runways are undoubtedly lust-worthy, they can be rather difficult to carry out in the real world (not to mention, most are unavailable for purchase until next year).

Luckily, we can always count on our favourite style influencers, who are already kick-starting the latest trends and showing off the current best buys through their impeccably thought-out — yet completely effortless looking — attire. Scroll down to find out what 10 of our favourite Asian style stars wore to New York Fashion Week, and perhaps add them to your Instagram feed too, so you can get an exclusive look at all the fashion frenzy during the busiest few weeks of the year.

Chriselle Lim

Korean-American fashion stylist and blogger Chriselle Lim chose an all black ensemble for Alexander Wang‘s fashion show on Saturday night, pairing a black shirt with neck-fastening details with high-waisted trousers and pointed boots for a cool, edgy vibe.

Louise Wong

At the Self Portrait show, Hong Kong model Louise Wong admitted that she wanted to go for a more feminine look by choosing a one-shouldered floral guipure dress in a sweet pink hue, but couldn’t resist layering it over a white fishnet dress for a more fashion forward appeal.

Irene Kim

Never one to shy way from bold colours and prints (note the purple hair), Korean model and style influencer Irene Kim opted for a printed striped dress from Solace London with a sleek, sculptural silhouette and and a dramatic, asymmetric hem. She finished the look with the now-iconic knife mule from Balenciaga.

Yoyo Cao

Red is officially the fashion colour of the SS18 season, and Singapore style star and designer Yoyo Cao embraced the trend with her bright red off-shoulder knitted dress, matched with a pair of mid-calf boots in the same vibrant hue.

Aimee Song

Los Angeles-based interior designer and fashion blogger Aimee Song played with different textures with a tonal attire comprising a silky slip dress, Racil velvet blazer, Tibi satin heels and Dior shades. To complete the look, she chose a Chloé ‘Pixie’ bag in a contrasting red colour for extra visual stimulation.

After attending an exclusive dinner with Michael Kors, Hong Kong stylist and blogger Veronica Li shimmered in the dark wearing a body-hugging metallic ribbed sweater dress and Malone Souliers’ signature ‘Maurine’ heels.

Vanessa Hong

Women’s power suits are no longer expected to feature a slimmer frame, as Vancouver-based blogger Vanessa Hong showed us with this double-breasted and straight silhouette suit, paired with high-waisted trousers with a loose cut.

Park Shin Hye

The sweet Korean actress Park Shin Hye was spotted leaving Coach‘s fashion show dressed in a dreamy floral print dress maxi dress from the brand’s FW17 collection, subtly paired with black boots for a prairie-meets-city flair.

Eva Chen, director of fashion partnerships at Instagram, looked fabulous in a cut-out turtleneck sweater by Monse, and Prabal Gurung’s ‘Carwash’ skirt with metal rings, while also clutching a bag from Proenza Schouler.

Soo Joo Park

New York-based model Soo Joo Park, who also chose to wear a tone-on-tone ensemble, went to the Calvin Klein show dressed in a blue Raf Simons x Sterling Ruby shirt — highlighted with an artistic tie-dye pattern — and destroyed vintage Levi’s denim.
