One of the annual highlights of the spring season is the spate of auctions that are held in Hong Kong and around the world, each one breaking records with sky-high sales on one-of-a-kind items, from rare wines to artistic masterpieces to unique watches. Our attention, however, always turns to the jewellery sales, which is why our hearts are all aflutter over Sotheby’s upcoming Magnificent Jewels & Jadeite sale, which features exquisite masterpieces from legendary jewellers alongside rare treasures from the natural world as well.
