Though any day of the year can feel like Valentine’s Day when you’re in love, it’s always a good idea to go the extra mile and give a gift that’s a symbol of your affection. If you’re looking to treat the special lady in your life with jewellery this year, you’re in luck: Two of the most renowned French jewellers have just launched new lines of their signature collections, featuring more modern and sophisticated designs that remain true to the brand’s DNA but come with a more accessible price tag.
With a symbolic screwdriver design that was born in New York back in the 70s, the Love bracelet by Cartier has since become a representation of the wearer’s commitment to romance. This year, in an effort to cater to the wants and needs of modern women, the jeweller has created a series of new bracelets and rings for the iconic collection, with a slimmer frame that appears more delicate and sleek. The clasps have also been refitted into a simple click-and-go design for increased practicality; meaning, you no longer have to search for an actual screwdriver every time you want to take your bracelets off.
Prices for bracelets start at HK$28,800 for rose gold and yellow gold to HK$30,800 for white gold, but if you have a lot more budget to spare, there are also diamond versions priced at HK$178,000 for rose gold and yellow gold, and HK$190,000 for white gold. The Love rings, though not as popular as the bracelets, are elegant options too, with prices starting at HK$31,900.

The Quatre collection has been one of Boucheron’s signatures for over a decade, featuring four decorative elements that are each inspired by an iconic motif found at Place Vendôme in Paris – home to the Maison since 1893. The jeweller has recently decided to deconstruct and reinterpret two of the four distinctive elements, presenting a new and more affordable line of Quatre Radiant Edition jewels. These elements include the Clou de Paris that resembles the cobblestones of Place Vendôme, and the Grosgrain that is inspired by founder and draper Frédéric Boucheron’s creations.
The collection comprises rings and bracelets, with the price for rings ranging from HK$14,300 for rose gold and yellow gold, to HK$15,600 for white gold, while bracelets are more expensive, priced at HK$53,500 and HK$57,500 respectively.
