Got a child at home with nowhere to go and not much to do? L’École, School of Jewelry Arts (Asia Pacific), has just launched its first children’s campaign that will offer not only your little ones, but the entire family some educational fun from the safety of your homes. What’s more? You’ll also get the chance to enjoy a family staycation at Rosewood Hong Kong if you take part.
While L’École has been forced to once again close its doors due to increased CoViD-19 safety measures, the jewellery school remains committed to its mission to spread knowledge, appreciation, and the culture of jewellery across the region.
To do that, the school has launched a #LEcoleKidsRocks campaign, teaming up with Olivier Segura and Billie Hughes (co-curators of the ‘Discover the Gemstones, Ruby & Sapphire‘ exhibition) to create a series of online videos to inspire little ones aged five to 12 to delve into the fascinating universe of colourful rocks and stones.
After exploring and learning about gemstones, children are encouraged to flex their creativity with the limited edition ‘Play & Learn’ Activity Book, and come up with their own ruby and sapphire-inspired artworks or stories as they imagine the mysterious microscopic universe inside these precious gems.
From 20 August to 6 September, children (or their parents) can share these creations on Facebook and Instagram for a chance to win prizes, including a two-hour L’École Children’s Creative Workshop and a one-night family staycation at Rosewood Hong Kong.
The campaign was initially rolled out last week and instantly received 300 applicants. So in response to such enthusiasm, the jewellery school is now opening an additional 200 spots and — even better — doubled up on the number of prizes!
To sign up, all you have to do is register online to have a limited edition #LecoleKidsRocks ‘Play & Learn’ Activity Book delivered right to your doorstep. Free registration starts at 10am on 14 August on a first come, first served basis, so make sure you do that quickly before all the spots get filled up again!
