Zara Beauty was unveiled yesterday, on May 12, 2021 and we can’t contain our excitement. If you ask us, we had a premonition – lately, zara models have been sporting some killer makeup looks. Bold and stunning – orange eyeliners and opaque blue eyeshadows, over-lined lips and red lips with a punch – there were hints thrown about. And now, with a collective beauty line targeted at millennials and Gen Z, Zara is all up and onwards through these offerings. The beauty line has a wide range – it’s for the face and nails and each product was selected by renowned British makeup artist Diane Kendal.

Everything to know about the Zara Beauty Collection –

At this point, you also need to remember that just about recently Zara has launched their perfume collaboration with Jo Malone and we lapped it up. This seems to be the end game – a whole new collection that heralds the new Zara, a place where you get everything offbeat and essential – they have started retailing stationery too.

The Zara Beauty collection will be launched on-line and in select stores – and it hasn’t yet reached India. The collection has a staggering 130 plus colours. What makes Zara convincing is the fact that they have pivoted from just doing budget buys to making trends count in the last few years – we have come to expect quality and originality from the high street label. The beauty collection is added plus.

Here’s the first cut with the tagline,  “There is no Beauty, Only Beauties”.

What’s up with the launch? What’s retailing right now? Eye Colours in 6 Eyeshadow Palette coming up in 5 colours and the beautiful packaging of the Eyeshadow Duos in nine stunning shades (this is the one we are rooting for, will be highly popular, we said it first!).

There are four Metal Foil loose pigments and an eyeliner. Plus, nine bronzers, nine blushes, two highlighters, and three face palettes and six brushes. Take a look at the cool lipsticks – the pen-like ones and the usual lippies alongside a lip balm called Halo. One look at the bright fuchsia matte lipstick called Jackpot and you know, that’s the dream.

Zara Beauty has launched in Europe, the U.S.A, Canada, Mexico, China, South Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, and they say it will reach the Middle East in June 2021. Which means, will India be next?

It’s cruelty-free and what’s more exciting? It’s refillable. And there’s gonna glass packaging involved. Well, that took care of a lot. Apart from that, the they are designed in sparkling white packaging – chic and classy and the cherry on the cake is the price point. They are affordable with prices starting from $7.90 to $25.90, and refills at  $4.90.
