Shraddha Kapoor

Tell us about your association with MyGlamm? And how the brand fits into your idea of beauty.

Shraddha Kapoor: I deeply resonate with MyGlamm’s clean beauty formulations and the cruelty-free promise since that is something I feel passionately about. Hence, when MyGlamm approached me to be the face of the brand, I was excited and decided to invest in the brand. As an entrepreneur with an interest in the industry, I have carefully studied the DTC beauty market, which is growing rapidly. I believe it is the future. Through MyGlamm, I hope to understand and fulfil the beauty needs of my fans and followers.

What’s your idea of beauty? Is there a definition you live by?

Shraddha Kapoor: I definitely feel that beauty is skin deep. True beauty is reflected through characteristics such as kindness, humility, generosity, and empathy. I also feel that most people have started appreciating these qualities of beauty that are beyond the superficial aesthetics of a person’s outward appearance.

Is there a basic skincare regime you follow, and what does it entail?

Shraddha Kapoor: Less is more is my mantra for all things beauty, skincare, and hair care. I avoid using too many products, stick to what works for me and give my hair, skin and nails that extra love they need by eating right. I start my day by meditating. I create a to-do list so that my day is well organised, followed by a wholesome breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day. Throughout the day, I ensure I drink a lot of water. Lastly, I practice gratitude; I believe it is the key to self-care.

What is your daily makeup regime?

SK: I try not to use too many products. A simple moisturiser goes a long way. Good hydration works wonders for me. A sunscreen, a tinge of mascara and tinted Lip balm are all I need.

What are the makeup products you swear by?

SK: The MyGlamm Treat Love Care Anti-pollution foundation is a fabulous solution for everyday makeup in the city. I also recently tried the MyGlamm SUPERFOODS Kajal, and I instantly loved it. It has everything you want in your everyday kajal, but what I really liked about it is that it is enriched with extremely nourishing avocado oil.

Are there any DIYs you follow when it comes to your skin and hair?

SK: A DIY homemade mask that I totally swear by would be besan mixed with an oil of your choice whether it’s coconut oil, jojoba oil or rosehip oil. Apply that on the face and gently scrub it. This is my quickest go-to to my homemade face pack.

A wellness trend that you have been loving?

SK: Feel good on the inside, and it will reflect on the outside. I think that applies to confidence, beauty, and everything else. Keeping an open mind, staying positive and practising gratitude.

How do you keep yourself fit?

SK: I practice Yoga and get in a functional workout at least twice a week.

How do you stay motivated throughout the day?

SK: I love what I do. My work is not really a job; it is something I look forward to every single day. The love of my family, friends, and fans is what keeps me going through the day. When you love what you do, there is always extra motivation to keep getting better at it. And now the association with MyGlamm. They are the fastest-growing brand in India and always looking out for what their audience wants and keeps them going. It’s a perfect match.
