Amidst all the news and drama circulating around Lady Gaga’s 4-outfit change at the Met Gala, there’s actually another ‘thing’ that made its debut on the same carpet. No, we’re not referring to the rumoured Haus Beauty by Mother Monster herself but what was on her skin. Under the new Marc Jacobs Beauty Accomplice Concealer & Touch-up Stick and Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder is the brand’s first skincare product, the Youthquake Hydra-Full Retexturizing Gel Crème.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Global Artistry Ambassador, Sarah Tanno prepped the singer-songwriter with the new moisturiser, allowing it to both moisturise and retexturise the skin before applying makeup. “Why bother rehydrating dead skin cells?” proclaims their website. “Smooth away rough texture and reveal a fresh surface that’s ready to receive major moisture magnitude.”

Marc Jacobs

This new multi-tasking moisturiser is formulated with 54 percent enzymatic pineapple water and 5 percent encapsulated sodium hyaluronate, the main ingredients that will give your skin hydration and glow. And that’s not all – antioxidant-rich starfruit and dragonfruit extracts add on hydration benefits and nourishment so the skin will be even more ready for makeup. You can expect up to 24 hours of hydration with this full-bodied gel-crème texture. Skin will instantly look smoother, plumper, and more youthful – basically, skin that will look so good on its own, no foundation is required.
