Louis Vuitton Les Sables Roses
We were all excited about the Ombre Nomade launch in 2018, now it’s Jacques Cavallier Belletrud’s big enchanting tribute to the olfactory heritage of the Middle East: Les Sables Roses. The composition is exquisite and oriental in its approach with oud dominating the notes alongside rose and ambergris. Additionally, black pepper and saffron add the charm of the east beautifully. All the magic of the desert is bottled into this beauty, scheduled to be launched in India in June. Layer it on top of the Nomade for that additional touch of summer.
Price: Rs 26,000 (100 ml) and Rs 40,000 (200 ml)
Roja Dove Elixir
It’s the time for florals clearly with Scentido’s new offering, the Elixir by Roja Dove, which moves towards exquisite floral notes that comprise of Lily of the Valley, Geranium, Rose, Jasmine, and even Violets. The inclusion of fruity ideas like raspberry and peach add a double layer to the scent and the base notes of cedar, sandal and casmir woods, and lively cinnamon, softened by vanilla bring to it a certain kind of sensuality. There is undoubtedly a musky fragrance that gives it an earthy feel alongside orris.

Jo Malone London Weeds & Wildflowers
If you truly want a floral bouquet to accompany you on your travels, don’t look beyond Jo Malone London’s limited edition summer collection, called Weeds & Wildflowers. The fact that this collection is inspired by unruly weeds and the wild plant world is an offbeat but alluring thought. The collection includes five distinctive colognes: The delicate Hemlock & Bergamot; Cade & Cedarwood, which gives a comforting feel with a smoky scent; Lupin & Patchouli, enriched with luxurious rose and the fresh call of mandarin; Willow & Amber, which features notes of vetiver; and finally Nettle & Wild Achillea, which has white achillea flower with a soft base of white musk. The most exciting part of the collection is the bottle, which comes in 30 ml, decorated with printed illustrations of the key ingredients of each fragrance in a traditional painting style, ultimately making it one of the best summer perfumes of 2019.

Juliette has a Gun Sunny Side Up
Our personal favourite will always be ‘Not a Perfume’ but that only means that the summer offerings at Juliette has a Gun are equally compelling. With the top notes at jasmine alongside iris butter and sandalwood, this one’s as smart as they come. A distinctly woody fragrance, it has a unique composition from the woody creamy trails to ambrette and vanilla absolute as the base notes. The Sambac Jasmine adds the real charm here to transform it into an addictive scent – definitely one of the best summer perfumes of 2019.
Price: Rs 9,400 (100 ml).
Memo Paris Tamarindo
The oil of jasmine combined with Guanacaste leaves makes sure this bottle never leaves your side this summer. With dominant notes like bergamot and vanilla, this beauty recreates the soft glow and the fascinating fierceness of the jungle. Even a heady scent like patchouli keeps this scent from tapping into the memory with thoughts of a significant summer. Inspired by sunshine, this fragrance keeps it low-key with a hint of tropical fruits and flowers accompanied by the fresh sweetness of pineapple, bergamot oil, jasmine, cardamom, and vanilla absolute.
