A perfect family portrait/picture calls for an amazing backdrop, and nothing works better than a wooden facade. We love the simplicity and the classic vibe of Sara’s backdrop in the picture. For some, it is a fancy wall or an edgy cabinet or even their balcony, but there is a sense of warmth that this backdrop exudes.

A spectrum of striking hues

Happy colours make a home perfect, and Sara Ali Khan agrees. From the perfect sofa to quirky antiques to cushions in festive hues (think red and gold, because why not!) everything seems to come together seamlessly in her house.

An ode to classics (and a perfect workout pad)

When you and your brother (Ibrahim Ali Khan) are workout fanatics, every space works. If not a gym, your living space ornamented with decadent rugs and carpets, classic old-school curtains and chairs becomes a perfect workout space.

Patchwork perfection

Not just in fashion, patchwork is a major trend when it comes to home decor. From wall hangings to wallpapers to curtains, a spectrum of colours can be a part of your indoors via patchwork, for cues, this video might help.

Full-size mirrors

Just in case you do not have decadent vanity corners, full-size mirrors help. And you can easily place in your living space for the last moment, red carpet style check.

Beautiful cushion covers are a timeless investment. So if you are looking beyond the usual mirror work ones or the traditional Indian ones, picking up evergreen covers that can double as the artwork is a good idea. These evoke Vincent Van Gogh’s famous flower work’s image, and personalised ones are a great idea. We’d say, these are some of the pieces that stand out for us in Sara Ali Khan’s house.

Decadent carpets and books

No matter how millennial Sara’s feed might be, her love for books and regal carpets come to view once you scroll down her feed. And what better than to surround yourself with such goodness while sweating.
