Last year it was La Piazza, and this year it’s TK’s Oriental Grill. The Pan Asian restaurant at Hyatt Regency, Delhi completes 25 years and they’ve got a host of celebrations lined up.

T.K's Oriental Grill

At the maiden dinner for the year-long silver jubilee commemoration, we had a glimpse of what’s in store for 2020. The new menu is comprised of special creations for this year, chef’s specials along with the all-time TK’s classics.

The new additions include a soul-warming soup, with either chicken or mushrooms, is ideal for winters. It is high on spice and broth fat (for the chicken). The minced chicken salad tossed with chilli, ginger, and a hint of kaffir lime makes for a light, refreshing appetiser. For vegetarians, the mushroom teppanyaki is the one to try. Creating the sweet-and-spicy flavour with a play on tomatoes and Thai tamarind sauce, it has mushrooms, asparagus, bell peppers, and pumpkin grilled and tossed in this mix. The pork teppanyaki has the usual suspects—spicy garlic sauce, onion, and spring onion, but the surprise element is pineapple that adds a sweet, caramalised tinge to this tart dish. Shiitake teppanyaki has a citrus profile, which was followed by the Yuzu tart. The two complemented each other well for concluding the meal.

T.K's Oriental Grill
Classics such a tiger prawn in yellow curry and shredded chicken teppanyaki continue to remain the must-haves on the menu. The Lat ma gai chicken and chocolate tart from the chef’s specials are highly recommended too.
What makes the celebrations sweeter is that throughout 2020, TK’s will have a flat 50 percent off your bill every Tuesday. So, don’t wait up and join in the anniversary specials at one of Delhi’s most iconic restaurants.
