The hustle is real. Living in a digital age, we’re constantly on the lookout for good co-working places with just the right kind of coffee to let us boom with productivity. Thanks to Primus, you won’t have to worry about hunting for a work spot in the city anymore.
Whether you’re looking for a classy restaurant or a business lunch, a few quiet hours to tune-in or simply an Instagram-worthy space, we found an app that can take care of all of the above. The Primus Co-Work app is a one-of-a-kind solution to turning the city’s coolest spots into a co-working space, with just a few smartphone clicks. They cater to a new-age culture of co-working by adding in the perk of premium-grade hospitality by the finest restaurants and bars from across the city.
But why choose the app over a couple of hours at Starbucks?
Well, apart from being pampered by great service, you get superb wi-fi of up to a 100-mbps, discounts, printing facilities, and valet services. A wholesome package, you also get deals starting at budget rates that could be booked real-time. The app is currently operating in Pune and Mumbai with more than 35 spots across both cities, and are looking to expand to Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
We spent a day at a Primus Co-Work hub at Su Casa, Bandra to experience their new co-working culture. But before that, we spent some time on the app making a quick reservation. It was a pretty straight-to-the-point — you make an account, do a quick location search for Primus hubs on your radar, and book a seat. The app and its interface is really simple, no fluff at all.
You can also easily select a deal feature or service for yourself, be it valet service, printing, or specific internet requirements. Once that’s done, it does a quick radar search. Next, you select and wait for a couple minutes for a confirmation. Then head over to the restaurant or bar, deliver the OTP and begin your day.
Even if you’re looking to work for a few hours, you might want to add an extra hour as a buffer for setting up basic logistics like charging spots and internet connections. With super-fast internet and comfy spaces, Primus aims to make it possible to work out of a place that transforms into clubs by night. Luckily, during the day these spots are quiet and work-friendly. What we’d like to see though — combo deals that will give us more bang for our buck.
Primus even organised two special hosts to take special care of us. With A-list places like True Tramm Trunk, Olive Bar, The Clearing House and more, Primus ensures that we can take care of our work, while they take care of us.
Rs 15 / hour onwards, a premium restaurant can cost you around Rs 1,000 – 2,000 a day (10:00 am – 5:00 pm).
