Fendi and Gentle Monster unveil their latest sunglasses collaboration

When it comes to sunglasses, Fendi takes the lead. Their latest line, Gentle Fendi is in collaboration with Gentle Monster. The capsule collection comprises of two unisex styles that embody a perfect balance between innovative design and exquisite craftsmanship, combining Fendi’s DNA with Gentle Monster’s unpredictable aesthetic. The highlights of the collection are the Gentle Fendi No.1 hyper-fashion metal and acetate sunglasses, and Gentle Fendi No.2, metal sunglasses that combine a strong fashion attitude with an easy-to-wear look.

Luxe Bridge opens in Chennai

Reliance Brands Limited’s multi-brand concept store Luxe Bridge has opened its doors to discerning luxury aficionados of Chennai. The store houses labels such as Marc Jacobs, Cavalli Class, Chloe, Coccinelle, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Coach, and Tumi, and is set to become one of the first exclusive premium women’s bags and accessories multi-brand stores in India. This is the second store of its kind – the first opened in Ambience Mall, Gurugram.

Corneliani fuses tech and fashion

If you are a jet-setter, then Corneliani’s latest collection could be for you. The Italian luxury menswear brand recently released a mini collection comprising a jacket, backpack, and shoulder bag that are equipped to keep your gadgets charged. The bags and jacket come with an in-built charger designed to charge the device by just putting it in the pocket. The accessory is equipped with a silver sheet to protect from harmful radiations.

Looking for those perfect summer pieces – Ekaya has some solutions. The brand recently launched its SS ’19 collection ‘Bird Song’, featuring silk kurtas, straight jackets, lehengas, and anarkalis in ivory, soft peach, norse blue, and golden lime. The collection celebrates timeless handwoven textiles, and is made in Benarasi silk, and flaunts feature botanical prints and handwoven floral and bird motifs.

Dior’s Cruise 2020 collection was a tribute to Marrakech

Maria Grazia Chiuri‘s ability to fuse art, culture, and fashion manifested in her latest Dior Cruise show in Marrakech. The collection was a larger than life spectacle, created in collaboration with French anthropologist Anne Grosfilley who closely worked with Chiuri to create new wax fabric. Chiuri also looped in Pathe Ouedraogo, popularly known as Pathé’O, an African designer who is celebrated for his shirts in vibrant prints (he even designed for the late Nelson Mandela). British designer Grace Wales Bonner, who references Africa often in her work, and African-American artist Mickalene Thomas, created their version of a New Look classic, the Bar Jacket for the show.

Keanu Reeves is the New Face of Saint Laurent

90s icon Keanu Reeves is now the face of YSL’s FW ’19 campaign. In a series of photographs by the veteran David Sims, Reeves, his hair pulled back, is seen wearing a pinstripe tailored jacket, a dark shirt, and a pair of aviators. In another shot, he wears a boxy leather jacket and black jeans. Anthony Vaccarello’s commitment to minimalism manifests in this campaign. This is Reeves’ second campaign for a brand in recent times – he appeared last year in a campaign for Squareface, looking rugged and riding a motorcycle.
